Major changes in the site. I have changed the font and also page structure. Projects have their own pages which now (again) includes all the stuff connected to the project (documents, maps...etc.). New Tilea document can be found found from Tilea -page. It now includes those beatiful maps, but also NEW Tilean Diary document. This is very nice document about Tilean calender (English version). Check further info from that document.

I'm not going to start collecting news here (altough that was my first idea) reqularly, but I will feature some news from official sources also. This will be done with different coloring so they are separated more easily from the site stuff (as featured below).
WAR: Warhammer Online has run now for a full year! Jeah! Currently it features the "new" area "The Land of the Dead", also LIVE event "The Wild Hunt" is on. WAR on MAC (apple) is now in BETA. And the current patch is 1.3.1.
WFRP3: Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay site has many news detailing the new WFRP3 system and giving some idea what to expect. These feature currently: Character Creation; Party Sheet (new idea); Customed Dices; and Experience & Advancement.

Norse stuff. Check Norsca -page, there you can find new version (1.4) of the Norsca:Religion document. File may seem smaller in size, but actually that is just "new" .PDF format. Document itself is bigger, with stuff from the newest WFB books (Warriors of Chaos and Daemons of Chaos) and also some new stories. The biggest new change is grammary check, special thanks for that belong to Daniel Wray.

I've just read the Hapimeses Forum and was reminded nicely that my site has lacked updates for sometime - Truth is that I've been little quiet, but I'm always working on something... Yes, the site is now over TWO years old?! Wow! I have been busy with other stuff, but WFRP is still on my mind. What else. Yes - tons of talk about revised WFRP2 or even WFRP3 going on in the various forums (mostly FFG). Who knows, but hopefully we do know soon something about the future of WFRP products. As for any updates - I've had some email exchange with Polish fan-base and do check this site: http://winter--spirit.blogspot.com/ You find there WFRP stuff AND my NULN map translated beatifully to Polish. Here be Dragons! And here they are. From the Bestiary Expansion -page you can find Tome of Dragons, a larger expansion about Dragons. Dragon sub-species, five different age-categories (with stats), new rules for Breath Weapons (including different variations of Breath Weapons), magic, magical-items, Undead Dragons...etc.

In the Rule Expansions -page there is now new version of Warhammer Common Knowledge & Languages (version 1.1). New version features some new stuff, but also gives new optional rule idea with information about racial Provincial Expertises.

There is now new page on the site: Maps. I have moved Norsca and Nuln maps there. Also I have added some stuff from the Shades of Empire to the Timelines. New material will be out very soon. AND I have also changed the chilling winter-look back to normal darker look. Even I don't advertise all kinds of news about WFRP here, but I have to mention this (now that I have played WAR very much). Warhammer Online is adding few new careers to the game. There already is Knight of the Blazing Sun (Empire, Order) and the Black Guard (Dark Elves, Destruction), but this spring we will have long waited Dwarfen Slayer (Dwarfs, Order) and for the Orcs Choppa (Orcs, Destruction).

Hello all! Its New Year and Hexenstag is well behind. Now that the "Transition Year" (2008) is over, new WFRP stuff is coming. Shades of Empire is out and The Career Compendium is coming soon also. Also FFG official site is presenting finalists/winners of WFRP Scenario Contest. Check them out. I have updated site little. I finally got WFB: The Empire (5th Edition) story about Gotrek & Felix. Huge thanks again to WFRP fan-base. But, new stuff is coming soon.

Happy Christmas! Well, maybe not yet, but it is coming soon. New Norsca stuff is coming, but that will be next year. SO, to give you something - here is new versions of Norsca Map (v1.8) and Nuln Map (v1.5). Norsca map changes are mostly based on the WAR and new WFB: Warriors of Chaos. Nuln map changes are basicly only the scale. Special thanks to fans in the official forums. More details about the maps can be found from the .txt files.

Elementalism is here again! Details about Elemental creatures (six variations, four sizes) can be found from the Bestiary and there Elementals. That document also has details about summoning magic (Ritual and Dwarf Runes). Summoning Dwarf Runes has been added to the Rune Magic Expansion page. New NORSCA stuff finally ready! There is NEW document Norsca: The Tribes, which gives details about the seven main (High) Tribes in Norsca and gazetteer to their lands. Also there is alot other stuff. With that you might wanna check also new version of Norsca: Religion (1.3) document, which has been updated (number of new Gods and Heroes). Finally there is also new version of the Norsca Map (1.7), which has also been updated very much. You can find more details about this version in the Norsca Map Information document.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY THIS SITE!!! Yippee-ki-yay, it really has been ONE YEAR since this site, Kalevala Hammer, was opened. Huh. Time goes by so fast. And how much changes there have been in Warhammer World also. WFB has 25th anniversary this year; Warhammer Online (WAR) is in Beta-state and "soon" hits the markets; Black Industries lost WFRP2 license and Fantasy Flight Games got it...etc. But I think it has been great year still. Alot of good stuff for WFRP has been published and especially fans have been very active. And I have found some time to do few articles, timelines and maps also, which hopefully have helped the fans. So, I'm going to celebrate this birthday with good dark Dwarfen Beer and probably take some imported Uisce from misty island of Albion with that beer. Cheers, everyone!

Finally some updates! I found more info about Archaon's generals (The Four) and it seems that Melekh the Changer (and also his son) were actually Aeslings. So, I have changed them as Aeslings and Haargroth comes now from the Graeling tribe (let's give Champion to each of the Northern Tribes). And then there is also to more additions to the Bestiary: Flikkenes and Spissemuns. Strange smaller variations from the normal Troll. Part of Norsca Project. I always promise more documentation about Norsca, and I will promise also now - It's all under work. If I just had more time.

I have opened new page - Bestiary Expansion on this site. I'm collecting "missing" bestiary there. For opening there is rules for Kraken (part of my Norsca Project) and Liche. Liche rules are little more expanded and have also other information about Nehekharan magic, including needed Ritual to become (or make) Liche.

Ok, it's been almoust one week from "Black Monday" (28th Nachexen) and Black Industries Announcement: 28/January/2008 - Black Industries Announcement. News that stunned us all. So, what have I done this time then? Well, drink. Every day and night... I'm so sad. No, actually not every day drinking, but I'm still sad. But, I have worked with Norsca Project again. If official publishing of WFRP is AGAIN in halt, then it's up to all off us fans to keep the Warhammer RPG alive. This is Warhammer 25th anniversary year, so this thing with RPG is little sad and strange. But Warhammer RPG still lives, long has, and always will!

Finally I had time to start reading Nathan Long: Manslayer. And that has caused few changes in the timelines. I have decided to shorten the Trollslayer timeline (adventures that Gotrek & Felix had in Border Princes) to one year (which was originally my idea also). And this also brings all other happenings one year back (Skaven Invasion in Nuln 2504, Siege of Praag 2505...etc.). So, check them out if your Gotrek & Felix fan.

It's been long time since last updates. Lot to do in life. But I have also waited for Realm of the Ice Queen (great sourcebook) and C.L. Werner: Palace of the Plague Lord (Norsca based novel). Now, there is new version on Expanded Careers (new look based on the RotIQ and changed few entries and added more references to official sources), Norsca: Religion (some new heroes and ideas) and Old World Animals (new look based on the RotIQ and NDM creature stats, but also some new animals). What else? Well, version 1.1 from Norsca Map is coming. Lot's of editing mostly because map found from RotIQ. Some ideas for changes from other fans. I will ask more ideas from the official forums. And there are couple of little changes/entries in the Timelines also.
